The image-to-ASCII conversion is performed on your device. The files you choose are not uploaded to Make ASCII Art.
Images and conversion
When you choose or drop an image, the page reads it in your browser and uses browser image and canvas features to create the ASCII text. The conversion code does not send the image or generated text to our site. The tool does not save your image or output to an account or server.
Information needed to serve the site
This is a static site hosted and delivered through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical connection information as needed to provide and protect its services. We have not added an analytics service or an advertising script to this version of the site. For Cloudflare’s own practices, see its privacy policy.
Third-party advertising
We plan to add third-party advertising in the future. No third-party ads are active on this version of the site. Before ads are enabled, this notice will be updated with the advertising providers and relevant information about their use of cookies or similar technologies and how visitors can manage those choices.
